My summer is quickly disappearing before my eyes. I had such grand plans, I was going to do this, do that, clean, re-arrange, you know. . .
I got caught up in being lazy, I loved being lazy. Playing with objects, colors, mediums, but I did manage to get some fab education in, specifically, "Soldering Bootcamp" in Idyllwild for one week. The working artist/instructor is Deb Jemott, and you MUST take a moment to see her website: http://www.debjemmott.com/Home.html. As it turned out, I was the only student with absolutely no soldering experience in her class. I was surrounded by the famous and the fabulous and I reaped the benefits, believe me. A perfect first time experience with an acetylene torch, and only one burnt finger.
A quick trip to San Francisco for a buying trip, another quick trip to Pasadena for the same. I took a few days to celebrate 35 years of fun and laughter with my wonderful husband, and in between I managed to create the beginning of what I hope will be my best season of jewelry yet.
Here's a sneak peek at just a few of the newest pieces:
Enjoy the remains of the Summer, keep cool, and have fun!
