Just look at these beautiful, intense, natural colors on the Bronze Clay pieces I created a couple weeks ago in Phoenix. Bronze Metal Clay is sister to the Pure Silver Metal Clay I use. It's fine bronze metal in an organic clay base. I create what I want with the "clay", fire it in a kiln, the results are below.
These pieces are straight out of the kiln-I have not enhanced the metal at all.
Bronze bracelet parts.
Bronze cuff focal.
Bronze face pendant for a chunky bronze bracelet.
Bronze medallion which I will use as part of a focal piece for a neck piece.
Bronze dangle. Any suggestions?
This new(ish) medium is a phenom! I wouldn't dream of using any other patina products on these pieces.
So. . .Summer's officially over now that the local schools are back in session. I spent most of my summer playing, the last few weeks frantically preparing for a very big show in Idyllwild, The Jazz Festival in the Pines. The venue was just beautiful:
My jewelry collection was a very big hit! (i.e., $$$)
And a good time was had by all! Even my darling husband who stayed with me most of the time to give me "breaks". And to listen to the outstanding jazz music....my tent was directly in front of center stage :)
If you scroll down, you'll see some of the other new pieces I've made in recent weeks. I've been posting them as I finish them. But, as promised, my blog will only reach your in-box once a month. You can always check back from time to time in between to see new pieces hot off the press.
